From ABC News: "An Iraqi investigation has found there is no evidence that US security firm Blackwater was under attack when it opened fire on people in Baghdad last month. The investigation also found that 17 civilians were killed, six more than previously reported."According to BBC News, "An official inquiry found the guards had not been attacked, as they had claimed, calling it a deliberate crime."
President Bush was asked specifically about the laws governing private military contractors in Iraq, April 10th of last year. His response was less than illuminating.
