I clicked on this site because I am so sentimental when it comes to Christmastime and saw the old postcards. I am 49 yrs old, but my parents were old when they had me (dad b. 1908) (mom b. 1917). They are gone, but they left me with a love of old things - things of their time. I am drawn - no pun intended! to whimsical art on old postcards and really, anything in the whimsy area of old. I love all the old music of the 20s, 30s, and 40s as much of it is so sweet and beautiful. A bit corny but I really like the seeming innocence of those days. Same with the art - particularly childrens' book illustrations. Anyway, thanks for this site. I just randomly clicked on it. I used to live in Seattle too, so it was a fun site to click around on. Good luck with your artistic endeavors!

I love vintage cards. What a lovely blog post this was to find. Now I need to figure out how to put music on mine!

Merry Christmas!
