FROM OUR GLORIOUS PAST
Frank Zappa and a stellar band, including Terry Bozzio and Eddie Jobson, performing Peaches en Regalia on SNL, December 11th, 1976. They say Bozzio's audition for Zappa was so brilliant all the other drummers behind him in line walked out, and he got the job.
I saw Zappa (this band or maybe it was with Chester Thompson, who later toured with Genesis) at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo with Taj mahal as the lead-off.

My Christmas song! Yay!
Isn't that a great clip!

Bozzio was/is a bad ass
That must have been a great show -- I saw Zapp with Flo and Eddie around 1973 or so -- but I would have loved to have seen him with the big band.
